Transport Project Parameter of the current project model to Files command set has the following two sub commands:
Transport to RVT Files
Transport to RTE Files
Transport to RTE Files is to transport some chosen project parameters of the current project model to Revit project template (.RTE) files either selected individually or residing in some folders.
In terms of how the tool should deal with those .RTE files in the chosen folders, e.g. if to skip those Revit auto-backup files, it can be configured in the Project Parameter Settings command and dialog.
The main UI of Transport Project Parameters into RTE Files looks like the following.
The Transport to Where button around the top-right corner can be used to double check which project template files and folders need to be addressed by the command.
If the OK button is clicked, the tool will transport the chosen project parameters to the RTE files accordingly and report back if everything is fine or anything wrong, either big or small.
If it's not ready at this moment, the Cancel button can be click to quit the dialog without doing anything.
All of these can be exercised in the trail edition of Revit Parameter Organizer.
