The legend rows in this case are sorted by the first Type Mark column as specified in the Legend Columns grid.  Each mark is aligned to the center of each cell as also specified.

The second column shows the system symbol name.  It is also aligned to the center of each cell.

The Top View and Materials column display the most important system elements and their materials.  The material contents are demonstrated by material tags and are from material descriptions.  If no such material description is available, a question mark will be displayed by material tags.  The Material Descriptions Editor in the Material Organizer group of the Gadgets toolset can help edit all material descriptions through many ways in a central place.

The system materials can be presented in another way, with multiple lines of text and detailed thickness information instead of materials tags.  The option can be specified in the Looking field of the View & Materials column.  Here is another example.
