The Batch Transport Elements tool in the Transporters group of the Gadgets toolset helps transport elements from the current model to some external files.
After the ribbon button is clicked, a dialog will appear.
Element Tree Viewer (at top):
- Category: to indicate what category to care about.
- Discipline: to indicate what discipline to care about.
- Tree Nodes: can be checked (fully or partially) to indicate what elements will particular into the coming operations.
- Buttons: Check All/UnCheck All/Collapse/Expand/Show Checked/Show UnChecked/Invert Chosen/Show Al
Buttons (on bottom right):
- Cancel: to dismiss the dialog without doing anything to the model.
- OK: to close the dialog and transport chosen elements.
If the OK button is clicked, a file picker will show up as follows.
After one or more good file/folder candidates are chosen and the OK button clicked, those elements types will be transported into these files accordingly. A progress bar will appear to show what is going on.
At last, an information box will appear to display what have been done.
The transporting result can be checked by the Element Browser for the opened model of that file.
